To stay in line with the winter and Christmas spirit I’ve defrosted the fridge today. ;-)

I tell you, there was more ice in places that should be ice free than I’ve seen on my car this entire winter. So I’ve spent most of the morning lying on my stomach in front of the refrigerator, carving the ice from its internals to speed up the thawing process a bit.

That helped, it was all ice free in a matter of hours. To be honest I’ve seen more ice coming from it than I’d expected. I need to take care of this more often methinks, or else it might cost me my fridge. Would be a shame to let it go bad, it’s such a nice machine.

Yay! I did it! I managed to be around another year, how about that?

People at work (quite a few of them actually) told me that I’m now officially no longer a thirty-ish years old guy, but a turning forty one. Not sure what that means but it sounds … well, older. Hopefully it’ll mean I’m a bit more mature now too, which, in all fairness, would be about time.

We’ll see what happens over the next few years. Stay tuned, I’ll keep you guys posted on my progress in this life of mine.

Forgive me for not knowing the exact term in English but I’ve just been released from a broken molar. It is (or was actually) one of the last in the row on the bottom left and now it’s gone. I won’t miss it though.

It broke last Friday when eating something silly like a piece of bread and at first the pain was killing me. Luckily for me I’m a bit of a walking drugstore lately so with the correct mixture of a few powders the initial pain was killed quick enough. But by then I realized this wasn’t something that was going to go away by itself.

The surprisingly friendly dentist (yes, apparently they do exist) took care of it moments ago and right now I’m feeling nothing at all because of the sedation. Ah, lovely feeling. Pain can be very tiresome to walk around with. So in a way, because of the numbness which is not hat comfortable, I’m hoping that it’ll last for a while before wearing off. :-)

Actually, a day ‘offline’ would be a better title for this one, my goodness. Things are getting to me lately and though I usually cope with them pretty well they’ve now started messing with my head. That in terms is causing me to sleep very light, if at all, and not being at my best during the daytime.

Today I called in sick and just stayed in bed all day. I killed the alarm clock and decided it would be better to wake up when my body had enough sleep. That was at around two thirty … in the afternoon. So I guess it’s safe to say that, among other things, I could use a bit of sleep. I do feel a whole lot better now, this day made all the difference.
