Biek with the VolvoUncle Biek, at your service.

Tap tap … is this thing on?

Hey reader, welcome and thanks for dropping by. This is my attempt at some sort of digital diary and here I’ll write down the things that happen to me and that I think are worth mentioning.

About this uncle Biek. Biek , well, yes I’ve heard that name being mentioned around here before but …. ah wait, I think I remember. I’m supposed to be the so called ‘brain’ behind all foolishness here, aren’t I? And you came here hoping to read all the nasty details about me, right? What’s there to say? Let’s start with a few facts and go from there:

Name: Lambiek Engelaar … or Uncle Biek for friends … or just Biek … oh whatever, just shout and I’ll come running :-)
Born: Yes (Oh very funny…) on the 20th December 1971 in Nijmegen, The Netherlands
Nationality: Well reading the line above I think this makes me a Dutchman
Hair: Natural dark blond and loving it :-)
Size: 6 ft 1 (Tall of course, what were you thinking?)
Weight: No comment (Actually it is about 162 pounds but uncle Biek doesn’t like talking about it :-)
Blood type: O-positive (Always oh-so-positive)

Occupation: (ICT) Support Engineer
Car: A 1966 sky blue Volvo Amazon P121 4-door saloon
Bike: Actually I’ve got two but no clue whatsoever on how to use them :P
Hobbies: (Classic) cars, GT racing, computers, (racing) games, movies and snooker
Favorite food: Pizza, pizza, euhm, pizza, Chinese (their food that is), chili, Greek (food again) and coffee (did I mention pizza?)

And you probably can guess the rest can’t you? I’m this model citizen, don’t drink or smoke, never exceed the speed limit (anymore … darnit) and like I said I love to play snooker, watch movies (both in theaters and at home), like playing (computer) games and I’m one of those fortunate people who actually like their job.

Should you, for whatever reason, would want to get to know me a little better I’d like to invite you to come back every now and then and I promise you’ll get a pretty good idea of who this uncle Biek character actually is.

Cheers,
Uncle Biek
