Day 1 – The beginning

We had agreed on meeting at the Nortier residence at around ten in the morning so we had time to pack everything that didn’t fit into their car anymore into the IFO. That worked all as planned and after a cup of coffee we went on our way at around eleven. The drive over there took us about an hour and a half so we arrived at ‘t Loo way too early since we were not allowed to enter the park or get into the house before three in the afternoon.

Not a very big problem, everyone was ready for lunch anyway so we used the extra time to take care of our inner selves and walked around a bit to look at the park’s features. A bit of rain postponed the looking around bit somewhat but not for too long.

Then we could finally get to and into the house and unpack everything. It’s amazing how much stuff can, next to three adults and two kids, fit into just two cars. We filled that house to the roof in about fifteen minutes.

After that we parked the cars and Stevie started making diner: a pasta meal, the ideal vacation diner and a good finish for a nice day.
